After being sheltered for many years, the day comes when a young person reaches the age of 18 or finish matric. The Children’s Act does not permit us to allow school leavers for a longer time.  For the school leaver and the staff it is an emotional farewell.  We keep contact with many of them, but some just disappear from sight, never to be seen again.
At the end of every year we have children who leave us to fend for themselves.  We would like it if they can get some items they need to start a living space of their own, but we cannot do this alone. Gifts of the following would be appreciated to start our school leavers off in life.

We want to bid them farewell with some of the following items:
(Please view this as a general guideline.)
Bedding & Pillow & Blankets
Toaster / electric pan
Pan / pot
Sharp knife & wooden spoon
Dish-up spoon
Cutting board
Peeler & grater
Mixing bowl
Laundry basket

If you would like to contribute by purchasing these items for a few of our children or by means of a cash donation towards the hamper, please contact us.

If you want to make housing available to one or more of our children, feel free to offer by contacting us. We will contact you to discuss your offer and arrange to meet you.

If you are interested in offering employment or study help, please contact us.
